Veteran Commercial Real Estate Finance Professional Joins Freedom Bank to Expand Its Commercial Real Estate Lending Platform

(OTCQX: FDVA) today announced the appointment of Dan McIntyre as Senior Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Practice Leader of the Freedom Bank of Virginia. In his new role, Dan will originate and manage commercial real estate relationships with owners, investors, and developers across the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, deepening the bank's presence in a market he has worked in for 25 years.

McIntyre brings 25 years of commercial real estate finance and capital markets experience in the Mid-Atlantic, spanning loan origination, debt placement, investment sales, and underwriting. Over his career, he has arranged more than $3 billion in financings across more than 100 transactions and advised on property sales and recapitalizations totaling more than $10 billion in value.

Before that, he spent more than two decades with HFF and JLL in Washington, D.C., leading commercial real estate mortgage banking transactions and serving on the firm's investment sales and structured finance advisory team. He began his career as a Financial Analyst at CB Richard Ellis.

McIntyre holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance, magna cum laude, from Northeastern University. He co-chairs the DCBIA Capital Markets Committee, serves on the CREDA DC|MD Capital Challenge Committee, and mentors through the Real Estate Lenders Association.
